Sandpipers are in flocks of hundreds, but this one was so pretty, he deserved his own picture...

Dear Jen, how is it with the Cormorants, are they hunted? Here fishers and hunters are so much behind them (to shoot them), it's just a shame! Last years 'Bird of the Year' by the NABU didn't helpo a bit!

Hunted?? I have never heard of anyone hunting Cormorants :shock:

I sure hope they are not being hunted........I need to learn more about these birds. We are supposed to have a group on one of the islands in the Susquehanna River near us.
